The 2008 British Par 3 Championship has already recieved a huge amount of coverage across a range of media.
This year the event is going to be televised by renowned TV channel Setanta and Setanta Golf Following the fabulous extensive coverage that the 2007 Championships recieved, of which more information can be found below, the 75th Anniversary British Par 3 Championship 2008 promises to be the most high profile and widely covered Championships ever.
 
The event is going to be featured on the highly popular Setanta and Setanta Golf
 
Golf Punk, as official media partner of the Championship have also extensively covered the event in print and online including event editorials, competition concepts, e newsletters and event advertising. Golf Punk are attending the event with their competition winner and will be reviewing the championship in their October edition.

 
 
 

2007 Television Coverage

 

In 2007 the British Par 3 Championship is scheduled to be televised on Sky Sports 2, 3 and Xtra
Sky Sports, which has a 7.3 million reach in the UK, have guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours primetime coverage.
In addition to Sky Sports we are working on a large number of other television projects including coverage on Golf World, Golf Night and Eurosport, as well as working with regional and national broadcasters.

World renownded trendsetting golf publication, Golf Punk, are the Official Media Partner of the 2007 Numark British Par 3 Championship.
The championship will extensively feature within the magazine in the 3 issues prior to the event, and the issue following the event.
On sale dates for these issues are:
  • Wednesday 6th June
  • Wednesday 4th July
  • Wednesday 1st August
  • Wednesday 5th September
Their partnership with the Numark British Par 3 Championship includes a number of exciting elements as outlined below:
  • Golf Punk are running a compeitition to "Win a Place in the Golf Punk Hall of Fame". One lucky reader will win a place to play in the Pro-Am - representing Golf Punk.
  • Editorial features, such as Graeme Storm's tips on how to play a par 3 course will be included within the magazine
  • British Par 3 flyers will be inserted into Golf Punk for the 3 months prior to the event
  • British Par 3 advertising will feature within the magazine
  • Golf Punk are going to attend the event, and cover a 'Behind the Ropes' feature following the event

UK Golfer
In the May issue of UK Golfer the British Par 3 Championship and its venue, Nailcote Hall, was extensively featured. The article focused on Nailcote Hall as fantasic venue for leisure and golf, and also as its importance as host to the 2007 Numark British Par 3 Championship.
