HOLE 1 THE WARREN 116 YARDS |
![]() |
HOLE 2 RHODIES BANK 114 YARDS This hole is usually the easiest hole on the course, but anything short brings the meandering ditch and two bunkers at the front of the green into play. Quite a few places where a chip from off the green doesn’t present too many difficulties if you need to get out of trouble. |

HOLE 3 BASWICH BROOK 124 YARDS An elevated tee presents a lovely view of this hole with the brook blended into the landscape and protecting the green on the left, so any shot pulled a bit can be in trouble. Bunkers at the front and back surround a sloping green with some tricky contours. |

HOLE 4 EMERALD ISLE 87 YARDS Aptly named the 4th is a tiny green shaped like an upturned saucer and demands a really precise tee shot or else! Out of bounds at the back is a big penalty for a slightly over hit shot. It’s a hole of extremities’, lots of birdies but also lots of bogeys and double bogeys. Everyone thinks it should be easy as the shortest hole, but it has a lethal reputation. |

HOLE 5 NEEDLE'S EYE 95 YARDS The second shortest hole is a beautiful hole where players need to be really accurate to avoid the two huge Oak trees which are only 10 yards apart in front of the green. Touch them at your peril and the ball could be in the deep bunker at the front. More bunkers surround the green at the back so a long shot can run into trouble too. |

HOLE 6 CARP'S CATCH 110 YARDS Possibly the most attractive hole on the course with the elevated tee set under the trees with a fabulous view of the lake which threatens on the right for any sliced attempt. The green is a dish and the pin position can change the complexion and difficulty of the tee shot dramatically. A back pin adds the risk of out of bounds just a few yards away. |

HOLE 7 MOULIE'S BRIDGE 146 YARDS Stroke index 1 and always used for "hole in one" car challenges, with good reason! The longest hole on the course is slightly uphill with an elevated green protected by a huge St Andrews style bunker at the front. Get in it and the penalty can be easily more than one shot. The prevailing wind can easily add one or two clubs to what you think is needed to reach the green. If you land the green the walk over Moulies bridge is very satisfying. |

HOLE 8 TWIN OAKS 106 YARDS The last three holes are always testing and the 8th is always capable of wrecking a good scorecard. The green is a highly elevated small and relatively flat target, but any over hit shot runs the risk of water at the back or another deep bunker like the 7th. The two oak trees near to the green add to a dramatic hole |

HOLE 9 NAILCOTE FALLS 133 YARDS The newly developed 9th hole has replaced a bunker at the front of the green with 25 yards of water, so with the pond at the back as well it is nearly an island green like "Sawgrass" The Oak tree on the right alongside the green means a lay up is not necessarily a safe or easy option and there’s sure to be some hearts broken whenever this hole is played |
