Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship 2009
This year the fantastic
Farmfoods are headline sponsors of the
British Par 3 Championship 2009 in what promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
The Championship returns to Nailcote Hall between the
4 - 7th August 2009, and will play host to a huge array of big names within the golf scene in addition to well known celebrities from television and the media.
Tony Jacklin CBE will be hosting the event for the
second year running, and this year marks the celebration of the
40th anniversary of his legendary 'The Open' win.

The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship 2009 comprises of three main events:

40th Anniversary Open Champion Celebrity-Amateur Challenge: Tuesday 5th August, kicks off the tournament with a bang, when teams of 3 amateur golfers are paired with a celebrity personality. In the evening a sensational black tie gala will take place celebrating the 40th anniversary of Tony Jacklin CBE winning the title 'British Open Champion' at Royal Lytham.

The Pro-Am Championship: 5th & 6th August, consists of 36 holes across 2 days. Amateur golfers are paired with a PGA or European Tour professional, who are competing for the title 'British Par 3 Champion 2009,' there is also a fabulous prize for the best Pro-Am pairing. The evening of 5th August will be celebrated with a stunning V.I.P Players Banquet to unwind and prepare for the next days golfing. The 2 days are closed with a wonderful prize giving ceremony, where the 'British Par 3 Champion' will also be announced.

The Grand Finale Celebrity-Amateur Golf Day: 7th August, is the sensational concluding event of the Par 3 Championship during which, teams of 3 amateur golfers enjoy 18 holes of golf with a celebrity personality from the world of sport or entertainment. Following the Golf Day a spectacular Grand Finale Black Tie Ball will take place in the wonderful setting of Nailcote Hall. This concluding celebration will be hosted by Tony Jacklin CBE and will also include delicious food and superb entertainment.
